Rare GTA and Red Dead souvenirs shown off at the National Museum of Scotland: Report

Rockstar Games is reportedly showcasing rare souvenirs from the GTA and the Red Dead series at the National Museum of Scotland. According to a report by Video Games Chronicle, Rockstar North has put a few memorabilia from both series on display at the establishment. The museum is organizing an exhibition named “Game On”, which starts on June 29, 2024, and runs till November 3, 2024.

The souvenirs reportedly include various rare items from both the Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead series.


Rare GTA and Red Dead items reportedly showcased at the Game On exhibition

On June 27, 2024, Video Games Chronicle shared a report revealing various details from Rockstar Games’ reported showcase at the Game On exhibition. Some of the souvenirs on display from the Grand Theft Auto series are as follows:

  • A statue of Claude from Grand Theft Auto 3
  • A San Andreas-themed skateboard
  • GTA 3’s 10th-anniversary baseball bat
  • The Statue of Happiness from Grand Theft Auto 4
  • Kubrick figures of various Grand Theft Auto characters

The exhibition also showcased the following souvenirs from the Red Dead series:

  • Playing cards
  • A puzzle depicting the city of Saint-Denis
  • A replica of the in-game catalog

According to the report, Rockstar Games included rare items from the first Grand Theft Auto game until the GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition.

Video Games Chronicle also managed to get a few words about the showcase from Jennifer Kolbe, the current Head of Publishing at Rockstar Games. Her exact words were:

“Scotland has played an instrumental part in the evolution of video games as a medium. We’re excited to help the National Museum of Scotland reveal more about the nation’s contributions to this thriving aspect of modern culture.”

Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead fans on the internet are thrilled to see the souvenirs from their favorite video game titles. Although Rockstar North did not include any details from GTA 6, fans are looking forward to knowing more about the showcase once it opens for the public.
