Rockstar apparently teases number 27 amid the ongoing GTA 6 trailer 2 theory

A GTA 6 trailer 2 release date theory going on among fans involves the number 27, and according to it, Rockstar Games is likely to release the next trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 this week on December 27, 2024. While developers haven’t commented on the situation, it seems that they are also teasing fans with the number. In the month of December so far, the number of posts on their Instagram account went up from 19 to 27.

Not only that, it seems that the Rockstar is seemingly maintaining 27 posts by deleting old posts. Yesterday, on December 24, 2024, they first deleted a post from their Instagram, dropping the post count to 26. However, they later uploaded a new post about Red Dead Redemption, making the total post count 27 once again.

This suggests that Rockstar is well aware of the ongoing GTA 6 trailer 2 release date theory and seemingly teasing the number 27. Okami Games, a well-known name in the gaming community, also noticed this and stated the following:

“The theory going around is that GTA 6 Trailer 2 will drop on the 27th and idk, that is kind of suspicious lol. That or someone at Rockstar is just a huge troll.”

According to them, Rockstar could be trolling fans after becoming aware of the ongoing theory.

Another fan, Drblueja, also reacted to the situation and concluded that it’s all part of supposed Rockstar Games’ marketing for Grand Theft Auto 6:

27 Auto Sales comments on the GTA 6 trailer 2 release date expectations
