The GTA Online December Update 2024 is going to be released this Tuesday, December 10, 2024, and gamers can already pre-load the DLC patch. From December 8, 2024, PS4 and PS5 owners can download the December DLC in advance, thanks to Rockstar Games. While the developers haven’t officially commented on the situation, the Grand Theft Auto community was quick to notice it.

Keep in mind that Xbox and PC users will have to wait till Tuesday to download the patch on their respective systems.

GTA Online December Update 2024 pre-load is now available: File size revealed

As can be seen from the aforementioned X post, Grand Theft Auto community member @AllEyezHD shared the update's download size. It takes about 6 GB and 2.8 GB on the PlayStation 5 and 4, respectively.

This seemingly confirms that the DLC, named GTA Online Agents of Sabotage, will offer a variety of new content, disregarding the rumors that it may just be a weekly or smaller update. The file size being bigger on PS5 than PS4 also hints that some content will be exclusive to current-gen consoles, like the new weapon coming with the DLC – El Strickler Military Rifle.

For Xbox One, Series X/S, and PC users, the patch will become downloadable as soon as the DLC goes live. While the developer seldom shares such precise details, it is not difficult to guess the exact timings of its release. Based on previous big DLC updates, the upcoming GTA Online December Update 2024 may go live around 2 am PT on December 10, 2024.

So far, the developers have confirmed some new DLC content, including a brand new business revolving around Jodi Marshall and the Darnell Bros Garment Factory, alongside a new set of missions, new vehicles like the Bravado Banshee GTS, and more.

The GTA Online December Update 2024's trailer, which came out last week, also suggested that fans can expect some cop cars to be a part of the patch. However, that hasn’t been confirmed at the time of writing. However, there is still some time to go before the release, and fans can expect the developers to share more about the DLC via a newswire post soon.
