After weeks of speculations and waiting, the Grand Theft Auto community finally got to enjoy new set of missions, vehicles, characters, and more from this year's summer update. The studio previously teased some of the new changes included with the DLC.
If you are on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Steam Deck, and have updated the game files, you can enjoy the DLC right away.
GTA Online Bottom Dollar Bounties update: Rockstar Games adds new cars, missions, and various other things
Following the previously revealed details of the GTA Online Bottom Dollar Bounties update, Rockstar Games has added a few new contact missions from Maude Eccles and Vincent Effenburger. The new bounty-hunting business named Bottom Dollar Bail Enforcement is the main highlight of this DLC.
The business features Maude and her daughter Jenette Eccles. While the former is an OG character in the game, the latter is a new addition. You have to buy the business in any of the five in-game locations. While the cheapest establishment costs $1.65 million, the most expensive one costs $4.1 million. The missions are as follows:
- Most Wanted - Garcia
- Most Wanted - Song
- Most Wanted - Lieberman
- Most Wanted - Whitney
- Most Wanted - O'Neil
- Most Wanted - Thompson
Additionally, Vincent Effenburger has also brought some new Dispatch Work missions. These are police jobs that you can perfect while driving the best cop cars in GTA Online.
The GTA Online Bottom Dollar Bounties update is seemingly adding nine new cars to the multiplayer game. Some of the most prominent ones are as follows:
- Police Greenwood
- Police Dorabo
- Bottom Dollar Bounties Burrito van
- Police Impaler SZ, etc.
It is worth noting that Rockstar Games also previously announced the Överflöd Pipistrello supercar for GTA Plus members. The car is seemingly not available at the moment and could be a drip-feed vehicle.
Other than these, the GTA Online Summer 2024 DLC also added some minor new quality-of-life changes, such as new Drift and Drag races in the Creator Tool, new NPC animations, payout boosts for some missions, and many others.
