The Weazel Plaza Shootout in GTA Online will soon become inaccessible. The Die Hard-based event was re-added to the popular multiplayer title earlier this month on December 19, 2024, allowing players to experience it again. However, it has been made available only for a limited time, and will be removed from the game on January 2, 2025, with a new weekly update.
This also signifies that players only have a limited amount of time left to unlock the WM29 Pistol, if they haven’t already. Read on to learn more about how to unlock the pistol via Weazel Plaza Shootout in GTA Online.
Weazel Plaza Shootout event in GTA Online ends soon: How to unlock the WM29 Pistol
The WM29 Pistol is directly connected to the ongoing Weazel Plaza Shootout. Completing the random event is the only way to unlock the weapon. Considering that only a few days remain before the event ends, the pistol is a unique item that players can collect.
To unlock the WM29 Pistol, here’s what a player needs to do:
- Start the Weazel Plaza Shootout event.
- During the event, kill the “Hand Gruber”.
- Collect the WM29 Pistol dropped by him.
This is the only way to unlock and get the pistol as a reward. The handgun is seemingly based on the Heckler & Koch P7. However, it is not the only thing that will become unavailable next week.
