It has been over a year since Grand Theft Auto 6's first trailer was released, but there is still no sign of GTA 6 trailer 2. Most in the fanbase are quite upset about this as they had expected at least some sort of new reveal in 2024 since the title is due for launch next year. However, the gap between its first and, much-awaited, second trailer has now surpassed that of Grand Theft Auto 5's first and second trailers.
X user @GTAVI_Countdown recently posted about the same, including the gap between Red Dead Redemption 2's first two trailers, which, too, has been surpassed.
Reacting to it, @JavierBarbot, speculated a few possible reasons behind GTA 6 trailer 2's absence, among which were leaks. They stated:
"1: Retaliation for the leaks. 2: Very possible they are not ready to show more yet( needs more polishing) 3: delay incoming."
For the uninitiated, several development clips of the upcoming title were leaked back in September 2022. Even the first GTA 6 trailer leaked many hours before its planned premiere time.

Interestingly, a couple of other fans also believe that leaks could potentially be the reason behind GTA 6 trailer 2's absence.
Notably, some, like @JavierBarbot mentioned above, believe that there might be a delay, which could be why the next trailer hasn't been showcased yet.
That said, it should be noted that no announcements regarding any sort of a delay have been made by Rockstar Games or its parent company, Take-Two Interactive, as of this writing.
As for other speculations, few believe that since there is already so much excitement around the title, Rockstar doesn't really need to release GTA 6 trailer 2.
Needless to say, the actual reason behind this period of silence from Rockstar Games is unknown.
