Fans are looking forward to GTA 6 Trailer 2, which is expected to arrive by the end of 2024, and side activities are among the things everyone wants to see in it. There are several rumors about the type of side activity the upcoming Grand Theft Auto title will have. Some believe there will be new and unique activities like 3v3 basketball and wingsuit flying, while others think Rockstar will bring back popular activities from past games like bowling and vigilante missions.
Nevertheless, none of these can be confirmed, and we can only know more from Rockstar themselves. So here's a list of side activities that GTA 6 Trailer 2 should reveal.

Side activities we need to see in GTA 6 Trailer 2
1) Basketball
Grand Theft Auto San Andreas was the first and only game in the series to feature basketball as a playable sport. However, the feature was unfinished and left as a solo side activity where you simply try to score points by shooting the ball through a single basket, despite there being complete basketball courts.
Recently, a mysterious former Redditor named u/Well_Look_Whos_Back wrote about several supposed features in GTA 6, one of which was 3v3 basketball. Now, this seems like a good idea for a Grand Theft Auto title, where you can't have a full-scale match. So, having a few AI players would make the activity fun. We're hoping that GTA 6 Trailer 2 ends up revealing basketball as one of the game's side activities.
2) Wingsuit flying
Wingsuits in open-world games aren't anything new, as the Far Cry and Just Cause series, along with popular titles like Spider-Man 2 and Riders Republic, and more, have all made successful use of it. However, if it's included in Grand Theft Auto 6, it would be something completely new to the franchise.
There's a glitch in Grand Theft Auto Online that allows players to glide while they have a parachute equipped (but not open), just like with a wingsuit. As such, fans naturally want this to be incorporated as one of the side activities in the next game and revealed in the GTA 6 Trailer 2.
3) Bowling
Bowling has become somewhat infamous among Grand Theft Auto fans because of Roman's association with it in GTA 4. However, the activity itself can be quite fun, especially if Grand Theft Auto 6 will bring it back as a friend activity. There was only one bowling lane in Liberty City, so if it's included in the next game, we hope to see more locations on the map where you can play it.
The best case scenario would be if Rockstar made a Roman Bellic reference while unveiling bowling as one of the side activities in the GTA 6 Trailer 2.
4) Vigilante missions
Vigilante missions have been missing from the Grand Theft Auto series for quite a while. The last time they were present was when the feature was reintroduced in GTA 4 in a much more advanced manner. According to Rockstar, the upcoming Grand Theft Auto Online Summer DLC 2024 will include Vigilante Missions. Now, this might give a hint as to whether we will see this as one of the side activities in the next game.
GTA 6 Trailer 2 could also shed more light on whether this will be a feature in the next game or not.
5) Cage fighting or equivalent
Underground cage fighting was one of the most revolutionary features in Grand Theft Auto 4's much-praised expansion, The Ballad of Gay Tony. This allowed the protagonist to both bet and participate in illegal underground cage-fighting tournaments. Now, with the rise in popularity of MMA in recent times, Grand Theft Auto 6 could even feature official MMA fights as one of its new side activities. Again, GTA 6 Trailer 2 could tell if this is going to happen or not.
