Grand Theft Auto fans continue to speculate on the GTA 6 storyline as Rockstar Games refuses to share any new details about the upcoming game. Recently, a popular insider named Detective (X/@that1detectiv3) shared a thread stating the logo of the upcoming game reflects the atmosphere of Vice City and not the theme of the gameplay.

In response, a fan named GameRoll (X/@GameRollGTA) commented that the role of social media could not be denied.

They said:

“It’s obvious that social media will play a big part in the satire/open world of GTA 6. It’ll probably be the main focus. But it’s not like Lucia is going to start an Instagram page instead of robbing a bank lol”

Taking the gist of it, Detective hilariously responded with a Grand Theft Auto 6 gameplay theory based on real-life influencer activities.

Another user named KINGJulien (X/@KINGJulien15x) also supported Detective’s theory by saying:

“I honestly like the references but the VI logo is truly inspired from the sunset, Not Instagram. It being vibrant also references the vibe of vice city/leonida”

A user named Andrés (X/@whoisandyyy) commented that the upcoming game’s storyline could have a mix of both crime and social media influence.

Another user named Sergeant Sentinel Gaming (X/@SSGSentinel) stated that Rockstar Games should focus more on the crimes in GTA 6 rather than social media implementation:

“It’s fine if there’s social media and Instagram and things like that in Grand Theft Auto 6, but I want it to be a grand theft auto game. Crime and gun fights, and robberies should be the main focus, not social media.”

Many others also commented that the color of the GTA 6 logo simply represents the City of Vice.

While Rockstar Games has yet to reveal new details on Grand Theft Auto 6, fans are speculating on the theme of the storyline based on the official logo.

Previous theories stated that the upcoming gameplay would have influence from Bonnie and Clyde’s story. However, new theories suggest that social media will also influence the game. Nonetheless, we have to wait for the GTA 6 release date for the final confirmation.
