GTA 6 fans on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S are eagerly waiting for the game’s release in 2025. Meanwhile, PC gamers have no option except to wait for an announcement from Rockstar Games. Now, a Redditor named Old Deer Games (u/YuriyCowBoy) has shared the following meme on the r/GTA6 subreddit mocking PC players. They said:
“Sorry, PC gamers....”
However, PC players were not ones to take this lightly and replied with their plans for the game’s release. One user named Recent_Examination72 (u/Recent_Examination72) stated that many gamers buy consoles just to play games early.
Giving a solid response to the GTA 6 meme, Redditor nrcss72k (u/nrcss72k) commented:
“I'll just buy a cheap used console to play the game and I'll sell it after.”
On the other hand, some fans stated that they would patiently wait for the game to be released on PC.
One Redditor named Z3LDAxL0VE (u/Z3LDAxL0VE) commented that the GTA 6 PC version would be better than the console version.
Another PC gamer named arcturus_mundus (u/arcturus_mundus) stated that they would buy a PlayStation 5 Pro to play Grand Theft Auto 6:
“I am a PC gamer but I'll buy a PS5 Pro when it comes out to play GTA 6 and I highly doubt I'll switch to PC later on because Online on PC is absolutely terrible and borderline unplayable.”
Redditor Wevvie (u/Wevvie) said that the console release would act as beta testing for PC gamers:
"Thanks for beta testing for us PC players. We'll get to play the full experience without bugs, in native 4K (without console upscaling) and in actual ultra graphics.”
It will be interesting to see how Rockstar proceeds with the game, and whether it announces a PC version in the next trailer.
What will be the disk size of GTA 6 after its release in 2025?
The GTA 6 disk size remains a mystery for all fans. Rockstar Games has yet to reveal the full gameplay and its size. However, a few months ago, fans speculated that the upcoming game would touch 300 GB on the consoles. It is worth noting that Grand Theft Auto 5 covers around 100 GB of disk space and Red Dead Redemption 2 covers around 150 GB.
The latter title is bigger and has more details than Grand Theft Auto 5. Still, the studio managed to keep it under 150 GB. Since Grand Theft Auto 6 is expected to be more detailed than Red Dead Redemption 2, its disk space should be around 200 GBs.
Rockstar is known for its in-game optimizations. Therefore, the GTA 6 gameplay should not take much space while also offering a great visual and gaming experience.
