Grand Theft Auto fans seem to be keeping themselves busy in different ways while waiting for GTA 6. Discussions regarding various possible aspects of the upcoming title are very common on social media platforms like X and Reddit. For instance, one user on the former platform, @GTAVIBESFR, recently shared the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X box art concept, and their expected price for the long-awaited Grand Theft Auto sequel, eliciting varying reactions from fans.
@AttitudeEraPunk stated that if this concept really were the GTA 6 box art, it would be the end of an era. Here's what they said:
"This a fan edit sure.. but if that were to be the gta 6 cover. All is lost. The end of an era. IYKYK."
This is likely because Grand Theft Auto games have traditionally had grid-styled box art, while the concept in question only features the official artwork of Lucia and her partner.
Unsurprisingly, another fan, @yoyopopboy, suggested that the actual box art would be grid-styled, unlike @GTAVIBESFR's uploaded concept art.
"That's not gonna be the boxart btw. It will be the traditional grid design."
That being said, @Badrom_ seemed impressed, as they reacted with a gif of the "Shut up and take my money" meme.
Some users also expressed their thoughts regarding the expected GTA 6 price mentioned in the post. While some didn't agree with the figure, others admitted that they wouldn't mind paying a lot more. One such example was @_3d_2y__, who said they would take the next Rockstar Games title for even 200 euros. Here's the English translation of their tweet:
"Even if it was 200 euros I would have taken it normally, we are still talking about the future best game in the history of humanity"
However, readers should note that Rockstar has neither showcased the official Grand Theft Auto 6 box art nor announced an official price as of this writing. Therefore, they are advised to take any unofficial claims regarding such topics with a grain of salt.
Grand Theft Auto fans react to GTA 6 box art concept and price expectation on X
Rockstar Games has released very little information about Grand Theft Auto 6 so far, prompting fans to keep discussing possible box art designs and prices among other similar topics. Only a single trailer has been released yet, which too was dropped almost a year ago.
While there is no indication from the developer about when we could learn more about the upcoming title, fans expect a second trailer by the end of 2024. Whether that happens or not remains to be seen, but there will be a GTA Online Winter DLC to keep the player base entertained in their wait for the much-hyped sequel.
