Apart from a heavy design, it performs decently in the game.
This article shares important details about the Vapid Firebolt ASP in GTA 5 Online that one should know about. Please keep in mind that this vehicle is not compatible with any kind of Imani-Tech or Drift Tunings upgrades.
Vapid Firebolt ASP in GTA 5 Online: Everything important to know
Rockstar added GTA 5 Online’s Firebolt ASP on December 10, 2024, the same time the DLC was released. After being an exclusive-to-claim vehicle on current-gen consoles, the developers finally made it available for all players on January 9, 2025.
Grand Theft Auto fans should know the following things about the new car before getting it:
1) Vapid Firebolt ASP: Design
The Firebolt ASP in GTA 5 Online is a two-seater pickup truck that is categorized as an off-road vehicle. Judging by its design, it seems to have taken design inspiration from multiple real-life rides. While it is seemingly based primarily on the 1999–2004 Ford SVT Lightning (10th generation Ford F-Series), the following automobiles have also somewhat contributed to its design inspiration:
- 11th generation Ford F-Series – Headlights and front grille
- Chevrolet S-10 SLP Seeker (2nd generation Chevrolet S-10) – Exhaust, side profile, and greenhouse area
- 1st generation Chevrolet Silverado Stepside – Read fenders and tail lights
2) Vapid Firebolt ASP: Performance
The Firebolt ASP performs exactly like a pickup truck. The in-game files revealed it is capable of reaching a top speed of only 89.79 mph (144.50 km/h). However, the in-game files don’t always show the vehicle's correct performance. Players can expect the pickup truck to perform much better than that.
The vehicle is also HSW-compatible, allowing players to push its performance even further.
The actual top speed and lap timings will be updated here as soon as the information becomes available.
3) Vapid Firebolt ASP: Price and how to get it
The Firebolt ASP can now be purchased from the Southern San Andreas Super Autos for $1,894,500.
Alternatively, the other way to acquire it (on PS5/Xbox Series X|S) is by completing the Tier 4 objectives of Agents of Sabotage DLC, which can be checked through the Career Progress:
- Unlock nine platinum award for Agents of Sabotage
- Complete the 25 Files
- Complete all mission challenges for all Files
- Earn $100,000 in extra Garment Factory earnings
Final Verdict:
If players love collecting or driving pickup trucks, they should definitely give Vapid Firebolt ASP a chance.
