GTA 6 trailer 2 not releasing disappointed quite a few Grand Theft Auto fans in recent days. However, some seem to have gone back to take a closer look at the first trailer in search of more details. Among them is Redditor u/-Huskii, who highlighted the upcoming title's water physics, stating that they will look incredible, in the following post:

"The Water Physics will look incredible, here is a closer look at it (also included the Car and ATVs on the beach)"

The Redditor shared close-ups of various shots from the first trailer, such as the opener, the bridge leading up to what might be Rockstar Games' version of the Florida Keys, as well as the beach. All of these shots provide glimpses of GTA 6's water physics, and fans seem very impressed so far.

Reacting to the post, one fan, u/Sm0key16, said that they had completely missed these details.

Another fan, u/Midgeti, talked about the water physics seen in another shot from the trailer (in which four boats move past a dock), suggesting that it would be a massive jump from that in GTA 5, whereas u/DifficultEgg326 wondered what diving would be like in GTA 6.

Some fans, like u/xander540 and u/AhmedFawziz44, particularly liked the second GIF from the post. This one features the area that might be inspired by the Florida Keys.

GTA 6 is currently set to release during Fall 2025, as confirmed by Take-Two Interactive (Rockstar's parent company) in its latest earnings call. That said, the title's first trailer from last year is still the only official look at it so far.

Grand Theft Auto 6's setting will be a fictional state known as Leonida, which will feature Vice City, Rockstar's iteration of Miami. The title's first trailer dropped back in December 2023, providing the very first official look.

The water physics was among its notable aspects, and Redditor u/-Huskii's recent post gave a closer look at it. As can be inferred from the reactions above, fans seem very impressed. There is a lot of excitement around the game in general, and the fanbase is eagerly awaiting the release of GTA 6 trailer 2. While they had hoped for it to at least be announced by now, that unfortunately hasn't happened.
