Rockstar Games has had quite the history with GTA 6 leaks. Several development clips of the upcoming title were leaked online in September 2022. Even the title's first official trailer was leaked several hours before its planned release time in December 2023. Now, a new alleged leak is making rounds on social media. This supposed leak features a picture of what seems to be a scene from Grand Theft Auto 6 on a screen in an office-like setting.

This picture was allegedly taken around 2021 at Rockstar San Diego. It is also being reported that a janitor might have taken said picture.

Grand Theft Auto Fans have had varied reactions to this alleged GTA 6 leaked screenshot. X user @its_menieb reacted to the tweet above with yet another rendition of the widely used "before GTA 6" meme.

As expected, the Grand Theft Auto fanbase is divided on its authenticity, with some believing that this leak could be real while others remain skeptical.

One fan, @crouforlife, stated that this alleged leak could be used to add another location to the Grand Theft Auto 6 mapping project, to which another agreed.

For those unaware, a mapping project is being carried out by fans to figure out what the upcoming title's map might look like.

That being said, some believe the leaked picture could very well be fake.

At the moment, there is no way to confirm whether this alleged Grand Theft Auto 6 leak is real or fake. Rockstar Games has not released any statement regarding the leak's authenticity as of this writing.

Grand Theft Auto fanbase divided over alleged GTA 6 leak

Allegedly, the visual effects seen in the leaked picture in question resemble those of the development clips leaked back in September 2022. The character appearing in it is also wearing the same outfit as Grand Theft Auto 6's protagonist Lucia did in the leaked clips. This might be why some fans believe that it could be genuine. However, considering the number of fake leaks that keep surfacing online, a significant chunk of the Grand Theft Auto fanbase remains skeptical.
