While fans were expecting Rockstar Games to drop new information on GTA 6, an artwork inspired by the upcoming Grand Theft Auto title was uploaded by LEGO Fortnite on X instead. This artwork is a LEGO rendition of that from the first official Grand Theft Auto 6 featuring the game's female protagonist Lucia, and her currently unnamed partner.
The post is accompanied by the caption:
"Ah bricks here we go again..."
This is a take on Carl "CJ" Johnson's famous quote from 2004's GTA San Andreas:
"Ah s**t, here we go again."
Needless to say, this got fans talking online, with a reaction by X user @billsyliamgta serving as yet another rendition of the widely popular "before GTA 6" meme:
"We got LEGO GTA 6 before GTA 6."
In fact, many fans reacted with their versions of the meme. Here are a few of them:
Another user, @ImPeQu, described the post as "top tier marketing."
Others seemed surprised by the sudden Grand Theft Auto 6-inspired LEGO Fortnite post:
Interestingly, this isn't the first time some other video game social media account has uploaded a Grand Theft Auto 6-inspired post. Back when the first GTA 6 trailer was announced by Rockstar Games (in December 2023), several video game studios uploaded posts related to their own titles in themes that resembled the Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer announcement tweet.

Rockstar Games will release the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 during Fall 2025. This is the longest that fans have had to wait for a new entry in the series. While the developer did release a trailer showcasing a few things, that was over a year ago.
Fans have been waiting eagerly for a new look at the upcoming title since, but Rockstar has remained silent. However, this LEGO Fornite post seems to have lifted their spirits.
Grand Theft Auto 6 will be set in a fictional state named Leonida, which will feature Vice City, one of the most iconic locations in the franchise. Not much has been revealed about the title's plot or gameplay mechanics in detail, but with its release window scheduled for fall 2025, Rockstar might drop new trailers or screenshots in the near future.
In the meantime, GTA Online and its upcoming Agents of Sabotage DLC should keep players entertained.
