The gameplay trailer for LEGO Fortnite Brick Life has just been released, and viewers have picked up on some similarities with GTA 6. Although Rockstar Games hasn't showcased much of its upcoming title, the area around the beach in the LEGO Fortnite Brick Life trailer does resemble it quite a bit. Needless to say, this led to some interesting fan reactions on different social media platforms, such as this one from X user @billsyliamgta:

Meanwhile, @babiddyb00 on X joked that this was as close as we would get to Grand Theft Auto 6, taking a dig at how long Rockstar's upcoming title is taking to come out.

Another X user, @MoralzzX, stated that they would no longer be playing Grand Theft Auto 6 since they are getting it in Fortnite now.

Interestingly, another fan even claimed that this trailer would have to do while they wait for GTA 6's second trailer to come out.

LEGO Fortnite Brick Life releases on December 12, 2024. On the other hand, the currently set GTA 6 release window for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles is Fall 2025.

LEGO Fortnite posts GTA 6-inspired artwork on X, intriguing fans

LEGO Fortnite's X account also uploaded a Grand Theft Auto 6-inspired artwork that closely resembles the upcoming Rockstar title's first official one. Fan reactions to that post were quite similar to the ones mentioned above.

Posts like these have kept Grand Theft Auto fans entertained in the dearth of new GTA 6-related information. Rockstar Games has maintained absolute silence after releasing its first trailer last year. However, the developer's parent company, Take-Two Interactive, did announce a release window (Fall 2025) earlier this year.

Given that we are quite close to 2025 now, fans expect that Rockstar will reveal more about the highly-anticipated Grand Theft Auto installment soon. That said, there is no saying when new information might come to light, which has also disappointed many in the fanbase of late.
