GTA Online Bottom Dollar Bounties is the next major Summer Update for Rockstar Games' 2013 multiplayer. While the title has seen a few significant updates in the summer before, the next in line has the potential to be one of the biggest ever. The reason behind this is the type of content and the quality-of-life improvements that will be introduced via Bottom Dollar Bounties next week.

There are also rumors regarding a GTA 6 character appearing in the upcoming DLC, which is why fans are highly excited about its release. So, let's take a closer look at why GTA Online Bottom Dollar Bounties is set to become one of the biggest Summer Updates.

The reception of GTA Online update by fans is generally decided by both the quantity and the quality of content. Notably, the Bottom Dollar Bounties update seems to have both, which would a massive step up from the last Summer Update - San Andreas Mercenaries.

The first example of this is the new Bottom Dollar Bail Enforcement firm, which is a bounty hunting business. It will be a fresh addition to the game and fans have been demanding something like this for a really long time.

The GTA Online Bottom Dollar Bounties update will also introduce Dispatch Work missions that will utilize brand new police cars. It seems somewhat similar to vigilante missions that have been a fan-favorite part of older GTA titles, but had surprisingly been cut from both GTA 5's story and online modes. Nevertheless, it could be one of the best additions ever made by a Summer Update.

Not to forget, that along with these new GTA Online cop cars, Rockstar Games will add new civilian cars via the latest Summer Update as well, a glimpse of which was provided in its trailer. In a nutshell, the game's vehicular catalogue is set to welcome a good mix of vehicles, a stark contrast from the last Summer Update that removed nearly 200 automobiles.

Improvements such as payout increases in certain jobs, increasing sell mission timer of two businesses, and automatic replenishment of snacks in some missions, and more will be made as well.

Lastly, a character spotted in the update's artwork resembling a GTA 6 leaks NPC has led to a lot of rumors regarding a possible cameo.

While nothing of this sort has been officially confirmed yet, it wouldn't be out of Rockstar Games' character to tease the upcoming title in such a way. Luckily, fans won't have to wait too long to find out if that's the case, as the GTA Online Bottom Dollar Bounties update release date falls just next week, that is June 25, 2024.
