Why Lampadati Corsita is so underrated in GTA Online

The Lampadati Corsita is one of the most prominent cars from the GTA Online Criminal Enterprises DLC. Rockstar Games released it in July 2022. Since then, the vehicle has been available for purchase in the in-game stores. However, the player base seems to have forgetten about it sometime after its arrival. While it is still available in the multiplayer game, it can rarely be seen on the streets.

What made the Lampadati Corsita go out of the limelight in GTA Online?

The Lampadati Corsita is one of the best sports cars in GTA Online that you can currently buy. However, the sports category is very competitive, and this is one of the main reasons why the Corsita fell behind the competition. As of April 2024, the class has 104 vehicles, which is the highest in the entire game.

The Corsita is the fifth-fastest sports car in Grand Theft Auto Online with a top speed of 131.30 mph or 211.31 km/h. It also has an impressive track record and can finish a lap in just 1:02.262 minutes.

However, the motorhead community mostly prefers other vehicles, such as the Grotti Itali RSX, Grotti Itali GTO Stinger TT, Obey 10F Widebody, Dinka Jester RR, Annis 300R, and many more. While some of them are faster than the Lampadati Corsita, many fall behind it. Still, players tend to choose other options over it.

The lack of extensive customizations is a potential factor for the car being underrated. The Corsita has a decent amount of customization options that change the looks of the vehicle. However, they still feel very limited compared to some other low-tier cars.

Rockstar Games did not provide the Lampadati Corsita with any Benny’s Original Motor Works, Hao’s Special Works, Imani Tech, or Drift Tuning upgrades. Therefore, despite being one of the best Maserati-inspired cars in GTA Online, it could not beat its competition.

Last but not least, the vehicle's price tag is also a bummer for many, especially for new players in Grand Theft Auto Online. Legendary Motorsport charges $1,795,000 for the sports car, which excludes its upgrade costs.

The multiplayer game has many other fast cars that come at a lower price, and many beginners go for these options instead. Meanwhile, experienced players go for popular options, such as the Pegassi Torero XO, Declasse Vigero ZX, and others.

Nonetheless, the Lampadati Corsita remains one of the best free-roam cars in GTA Online in 2024.
