Carolina Hurricanes vs Florida Panthers Game 3: Preview, lines, predictions, where and how to watch - 2023 NHL Eastern Conference Final

The Carolina Hurricanes have lost two games at home before coming into the Florida Panthers' home ground at FLA Live Arena for Games 3 and 4.

The Panthers have a 2-0 series lead after Matthew Tkachuk's OT heroics in Games 1 & 2. This will be the first time in 26 years that the Panthers are playing on home ice and they will look to secure a win tonight.

Matthew Tkachuk wants the Panthers to keep the pressure on the Canes and said:

"You have to continue to play your game, continue to pounce on them when that opportunity shows. We're in a great spot right now. We would have taken that. And we earned it. But coming here, there's no sense in giving them life."

Carolina Hurricanes forward Sebastian Aho thinks the best is yet to come for his team and stated:

"We've got room to improve and that's the main focus tonight. It's just come out here and get our best effort out."

Aho thinks that both teams are equal in terms of effort and hard work and that the difference lies in being mentally present during crucial moments of the game.

"When I say we haven't played our best game, it's not about effort or how hard we work. It's just about in certain moments being a little better, being a little sharper mentally. I believe it's going to turn those bounces in our favor."

Sergei Bobrovsky has completely shut down the Carolina Hurricanes offense. He has conceded only three goals in the last two games. Bobrovsky has not given up more than two goals in a game since Game 7 against the Boston Bruins in Round 1.

Frederik Andersen is back in goal for the Canes tonight after Antti Raanta took his starting spot in Game 2. Andersen boasts of a .936 SV% and 1.65 GAA in the playoffs.

Hurricanes vs Panthers Game 3 prediction

Just like Games 1 & 2, tonight's game will also be decided by the two netminders Bobrovsky and Andersen. The Panthers goalie has been in sublime form in the past season and is the key for his team to win tonight's game.

Carolina Hurricanes will increase their offensive intensity and play harder for the puck, but Tkachuk and Co. will have yet another field day with in front of the Canes goal.
