Connor McDavid is a huge fan of sitcom "Friends"

Connor McDavid presently leads the NHL 2022-23 season with 93 points. He is currently having the best season of his career and is on pace to reach 150 points by the end of the season.

Since his debut in the league in 2015, the Edmonton Oilers' star forward has consistently performed at a high level. McDavid has delivered some of the best moments on NHL ice over the course of eight seasons.

Whenever he has the opportunity, Connor McDavid enjoys putting the puck in the back of the net while the game is in action. When he is not on the ice, he also enjoys watching television shows and playing other sports activities.

The Edmonton Oilers star forward is a big "Friends" fan, and whenever he gets some time off from the hectic schedule of the NHL, he enjoys watching the show with his friends and long-time girlfriend Lauren Kyle.

McDavid also mentioned the television show "Friends" in the Architecture Digest video of him providing a tour of his lavish home. McDavid plugged the iconic show while showing his television room. He added the space was also used for Sunday Night Football games.

In 2021, his long-time girlfriend Lauren Kyle uploaded a photo to her Instagram in which she, McDavid, and two of his other teammates were dressed up as characters from the television show "Friends" for Halloween.

In the post, Lauren can be seen dressed as Phoebe, Connor McDavid as Chandler, Draisaitl as Joey, and Nugent-Hopkins as Ross. The humble personality of the Oilers' captain makes Chandler's character suit him very well.

Connor McDavid has already played 51 games this season and has 93 points on 41 goals and 52 assists. He now leads the NHL players' leaderboard with 93 points.

With 31 games left, the 26-year-old could reach the 150-point mark if he continues at the same pace. If successful, he will become the first player to reach 150 points in a single season since 1989. He would be the sixth player in NHL history to reach this milestone.

His team, the Edmonton Oilers (29-18-4), are presently third in the Pacific Division with 62 points, only two points behind the division leaders, the Vegas Golden Knights.

The Edmonton Oilers will meet the Philadelphia Flyers at the Wells Fargo Center on Thursday, February 9th. The puck is scheduled to drop at 7 p.m. ET.
