Jason Robertson is a professional American-born ice hockey player who as of 2024, plays as a left winger for the Dallas Stars in the National Hockey League. His journey in the NHL started at the age of 18. In Michigan, he played for the Little Caesars and Detroit Kings minor teams. In 2015, he was drafted by the Kingston Frontenacs of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). During his time with Kingston, he scored 18 goals in his rookie season and became the first player since Michael Zigomanis to record back-to-back 40-goal seasons. Later, he was traded to the Niagara IceDogs, where he scored 117 points in 62 games, earning the Eddie Powers Memorial Trophy and the CHL Top Scorer Award.

Robertson joined the Dallas Stars for the 2019–20 season, mostly playing with their AHL affiliate, the Texas Stars. He was part of Dallas's quarantine bubble during the 2020 Stanley Cup playoffs but did not play. The next season, he made the opening night roster and finished as a Calder Memorial Trophy runner-up, scoring 17 goals and 28 assists in 51 games. In the 2021–22 season, Robertson made history by recording back-to-back hat-tricks for the Stars and was named an All-Star in 2022–23 after achieving his first 100-point season.
