Patrick Kane and the Chicago Blackhawks are currently on a three-game winning streak and will be looking to maintain their win streak as they face off against the Dallas Stars at the American Airlines Center in Texas tonight. Veteran Kane is available for the game and the Blackhawks will be looking to avail his services on the ice tonight.

The Blackhawks are hot from a 3-2 victory against the Vegas Golden Knights last night when Tyler Johnson sealed the victory in a shootout. Patrick Kane came very close to scoring in the last second of overtime. His shot made it into the net and everyone thought that Kane had scored a last-second winner, but upon review, the goal did not stand as Kane took the shot after the buzzer.

The 34-year-old is playing his 16th year in the NHL. He was drafted first overall by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2007 NHL entry draft. Since then, Kane has played in 1,160 games scoring 1,222 points from 444 goals and 778 assists.

Patrick Kane is a three-time winner of the Stanley Cup (2009-2010, 2012-13 and 2014-15) with the Blackhawks and has received various individual accolades, like the Art Ross Trophy (2015-16), Ted Lindsay Award (2015-16), Hart Memorial Trophy (2015-16), Conn Smythe Trophy (2012-13) and Calder Moemorial Trophy (2007-2008) for his performances on the ice.

Patrick Kane still has a lot of hockey left in him. The Blackhawks seem to be entering a rebuilding phase but with only so many years left in the tank, Kane is hungry for more.

He has been linked with numerous teams around the league, but there are a few that are better suitors for the Chicago veteran.

#1 Toronto Maple Leafs

After the Vladimir Tarasenko trade, this would be the next logical choice. Kane wants to be there as he grew up just over the border. The Leafs are all in on this group of players, and Kane would be the perfect deadline blockbuster to give the Leafs a boatload of momentum.

With no second-round pick to trade, the Leafs are in the beneficial position of knowing that they are where Kane wants to be. It would require a large package to get past the cap crunch, but the Maple Leafs are in the best position out of any other team to land Kane.

#2 New York Rangers

Patrick Kane seemed pretty disappointed when the Tarasenko deal went down. If the Rangers manage to land Kane, they will be the guaranteed winners of the trade deadline.

Over half the Rangers roster has no trade clauses, so the type of deals the Rangers can make will be limited. The benefit for New York is that Kane clearly favors them. If the Blackhawks want to get any value out of their star, they might have to settle for a low-ball offer from the Rangers.

#3 Vegas Golden Knights

It’s almost destined to happen. In the years since entering the league, Vegas has, successfully and unsuccessfully, bought big at the deadline.

They don't have a second-round pick this year and literally have no cap space whatsoever. Formulating a trade for Patrick Kane would be tricky, but the Knights and Blackhawks have made big deals before.

Patrick Kane has a no-trade, which means he has the final say on his destination. His preferences include the Maple Leafs and the Rangers. The Future Hall of Famer will be missed in Chicago but will forever be remembered as one of the most successful Hawk.
