Sergie Ovechkin, son of Washington Capitals captain Alexander Ovechkin, was adorably captured on camera skating at the MedStar Capitals Iceplex practice facility center on Thursday.

Sergie's father, Alexander Ovechkin, and grandmother, Tatyana Ovechkina, were present at the practice facility center to watch the young Sergie skate. The video was captured by Sergie's mother Nastasiya Ovechkin.

Here's an adorable video of Sergie skating:

Sergie can be seen in the video skating a lap while following the instructions of the instructor who is assisting him in skating properly. As Sergie skates, Ovi can be seen laughing with his mother Tatyana, who is closely watching her grandson. At one point, Sergie did fall on the ice while skating. However, he quickly stood up on his feet and started to skate again.

Sergie and his father can be seen walking to the vending machine in the following video slide. Sergie's skating video is indeed an adorable thing to watch.

Tatyana Ovechkina, Alexander Ovechkin's mother, has returned to America following the death of her husband Mikhail last month. She was also seen at a couple of her son's recent games, including one against the Buffalo Sabres on Wednesday, when Ovechkin scored his 37th goal of the season for the Washington Capitals.

Alexander Ovechkin achieves yet another milestone in his career

Ovi scored his 37th goal of the season against the Bufallo Sabres on Wednesday, March 15th. Ovi climbed to the fourth spot in NHL history to score the most home goals.

"Just another all-time NHL list for Alex Ovechkin to climb. Ovechkin overtook sole possession of the fourth-most home goals with his 402nd and required the second-fewest home contests (664 GP) to reach the mark, following Wayne Gretzky (481 GP). #NHLStats: https://media.nhl.com/public/live-updates?date=2023-03-15"- @PR_NHL

Ovi has been the leading goal scorer for the Washington Capitals this season. Ovechkin has 64 points in 68 games, including 37 goals and 27 assists. Ovi has now scored 817 goals in his NHL career, falling 78 goals short of breaking Wayne Gretzky's NHL record of 894 goals.
