The Boston Bruins have dominated their competition all season. They are first in the league with 111 points and have solidified their spot at the top of the Eastern Conference.

The Bruins have one of the league's most dominant offenses. They have scored 261 goals through 69 games and have a league-best 114 goal differential. David Pastrnak and Patrice Bergeron have been their best players. They have scored a combined 74 goals and appeared in all of the team's games this season. The Bruins are fresh off a 7-0 blowout win over the Buffalo Sabres on Sunday.

On the defensive end, the Bruins have shut their opponents down and are getting incredible goaltending from Linus Ullmark and Jeremy Swayman. They have allowed just 2.13 goals per game and have posted a league-best .930 save percentage.

Ullmark has posted a 34-5-3 record, 1.97 goals-against average, and .935 save percentage in 42 games. He appears to be the frontrunner for this year's Vezina Trophy.

What's next for the Boston Bruins?

The Bruins have won their last three games and are determined to break the NHL record for most points by a team during the regular season. The Montreal Canadiens have held the record since they posted 132 points during the 1976-77 campaign. The Bruins will need to record 22 points in their final 13 games to accomplish this feat.

The Bruins will host the Ottawa Senators at TD Garden on March 21. The puck drop is scheduled for 7:00pm/ET.
