Tyler Bertuzzi is a professional ice hockey player who, as of 2024, plays for the Chicago Blackhawks in the National Hockey League. He was born on February 24, 1995, in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. Bertuzzi was drafted by the Guelph Storm in the fourth round (78th overall) of the 2011 OHL Entry Draft. He played for the Storm for four seasons from 2011 to 2015. Following this, Bertuzzi spent three years playing for Wing's AHL affiliate, Grand Rapids Griffins. During his career in the AHL, Bertuzzi played in 121 games, scoring 25 goals and 68 points.

His professional career in the National Hockey League began when he signed with the Detroit Red Wings in 2014. He made his official NHL debut in 2016 against the Philadelphia Flyers, where the Detroit Red Wings defeated the Philadelphia Flyers, 3-2. In 2023, Bertuzzi was traded to the Boston Bruins in exchange for a conditional first-round pick in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft and a fourth-round pick in the 2025 NHL Entry Draft. In the offseason, Bertuzzi signed a one-year contract worth $5.5 million with the Toronto Maple Leafs. After playing with the Maples for a year, Bertuzzi signed with the Chicago Blackhawks on a four-year, $22 million deal.
