The Western Conference finals heads to Dallas as the Vegas Golden Knights have a 2-0 series lead over the Stars. The winner of the series advances to the Stanley Cup Finals.
The Golden Knights won games 1 and 2 at home in overtime to take a 2-0 lead as the series now heads to Dallas for a massive Game 3.
Game 3 goes down Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET.
How to watch Vegas Golden Knights vs Dallas Stars
TV: ESPN, CBC, Sportsnet, TVA Sports.
The Vegas Golden Knights took both games at home to take a stranglehold on the series as only four teams have come back to win a series after being down 2-0. However, Vegas coach Bruce Cassidy has learned from past experiences that this series is far from over.
"I was in Washington (in 2003), we were up 2-0 against Tampa and we lost the next four," Cassidy said. "So, for me, I know how quickly it can change and I'm sure these guys have been through some of those types of experience. We've won nothing. We've got a 2-0 lead. We're halfway there. We know we have to be a lot better."
As for the Stars, they say they are still taking it one game at a time and are still confident they can come back and win this series.
"That was something I took throughout my career is you want to show up," Joe Pavelski said. "You want to compete for the guys next to you because that's what you expect of them and that's probably the No. 1 thing with leadership.
"Just show up and play, compete, try to help guys have them help you and then just be a group that's excited to be out there together."
X-Factor: Adin Hill was Vegas' fourth goaltender entering the season but he has been solid in net since taking over for the injured Laurent Brossoit. Hill has allowed just five goals through two games and has made key saves. If the Golden Knights are going to take a 3-0 series lead, Hill will need to have another solid game.

Golden Knights vs Stars prediciton
Game 3 is practically a must-win game for the Dallas Stars. Expect the Stars to come out with a ton of energy.
Stars goaltender Jake Oettinger has yet to steal a game which he has been known to do. With Oettinger and the Stars back at home, I expect a solid performance from the goaltender, while Dallas should also be more disciplined and not take dumb penalties.
Expect another low-scoring, close game but the Stars will likely win this one at home to make this series much more interesting.
