A superb bowling effort from Sri Lankan Lions. They continue their impressive form with an eight-run win over Amdocs CC. Chasing 97 for victory, the opening duo of Gaurav Sagwan and Vimal Khanduri struggled to get going. Vimal Khanduri, in particular, added to the pressure by batting with a sub-100 strike-rate.

Eventually, the pressure paid off for Sri Lankan Lions as Sachithra Pathirana ran-out Sagwan in the fifth over. A couple of overs later, Roshan Siriwardana got the better of Preetaj Deol as Amdocs CC's chase continued to flounder. In the very next over, Samith Mapalagama also dismissed Hitesh Thadani for a duck as Sri Lankan Lions went about closing the match.

However, out of nowhere, Khanduri hit a boundary and a six off the last two deliveries in the penultimate over. Amdocs CC needed 27 runs off six balls to pull off a heist and Khanduri tried his best with two sixes and a boundary. Yet, Sri Lankan Lions and Chamal Sadun prevailed by eight runs.
