Muhammad Asif and Shahzaib Khan chased down the innings as if they had some flights to catch. They were in the chase right from the start, piling up as many as 37 runs in the first couple of overs. The bowlers lacked luster and seemed toothless against the ferocious ball-striking from captain Muhammad Asif and Shazaib Khan. Both batters went on to notch half-centuries and surmounted the asking number with 11 balls to spare.

Earlier, in the first innings, Amey Potale's magnificent 59 off 30 balls helped the Challengers score a total of 131 runs. With Harsimrat Harsimrat as his opening partner, the pair racked up 29 runs in the first two overs of the innings. Despite the third over being economical, Potale's presence at one end meant that things accelerated as time went on.

Rohit Narayanan's quickfire 31* off eight balls helped them reach a score of 131 at the end of the 10 overs. Subramanian Ramsurathkumar was the best bowler with a brace under his name.
