Commentary

Berlin CC beats USC Magdeburg by 10 wickets!

Although the previous game was a close encounter, this one was nothing like the earlier game! Berlin CC dominated the game from start to finish, with bat and ball, to hand USCM a thumping loss. Set a target of 44 in eight overs, thanks to rain and DLS, Berlin CC went about their work in a professional manner with both their openers spending time out in the middle. Sahil Sethi did provide some resistance with the ball as he snuck in a few miserly overs but it wasn't meant to be for the minnows.

Rohit Grover hit a few lusty blows en route to a 14-ball 22. However, it was all about Abhilash who was a persona of confidence out in the middle. Abhilash hit four fours on his way to 21 off just 13 balls as he didn't spare any loose deliveries out in the middle. Rahul Movva had a stinker with the ball and so did Shafiq Gulzai, whose only delivery was hit for a huge six by Rohit Grover. With that, Berlin CC ends the league phase as the table-toppers and will go into the knockouts with their heads held high. As for their opponents, USC Magdeburg, there's always a next year for them as they try and build on this campaign's experience.
