This was a tremendous defence from Sri Lankan Lions in the last over to get their second win of the day! Roshan Siriwardana need to defend 11 runs, he gave away 9 and won his team the match! That too, against a dangerous hitter of the ball in Managala Gunasekara!

Black Caps kept themselves in the hunt all the time and did not let the asking rate climb too high at any stage. There were some noteworthy contributions from as many as 5 batters but none of them could go on and get a 50. However, the cameo from Tejwinder Singh threatened to take the game away from the bowling side then and there.

With the ball, none of the bowlers gave more than 15 RPO and kept chipping away with wickets. They did bowl a few wides too many and were sloppy at times in the field, but on the whole, did a fine job in restricting a gun batting line-up!

So, with this win, Sri Lankan Lions register 4 points from 2 matches! Black Caps have to wait a bit longer to get on the board.
