Commentary

Right then, this has been Bidipto and myself (Rishab) taking your leave. We have the eliminator coming your way a little later so do stay tuned for the same. Meanwhile, switch tabs to follow everything else happening as we bring you the coverage right here!

Well, Bogliasco are now through to the quarter-finals with a comprehensive victory here, winning by 50 runs in the end. They did well with the bat early on to put up a good total and then their bowlers put up a solid show to make sure that they held Super XI. Super XI were nowhere in the chase all the way through though, as the wickets kept falling and eventually, they were bundled out.

70 runs is all they managed to get to in the end and this was another disappointing performance. They did bowl well but failed to finish off well, giving away too many runs at the backend and with the bat, they just could not get any partnership going yet again. Their struggles with the bat continue as this is a heavy defeat so to say.

With that, Super XI will now have to play the eliminator, which is their one and only final opportunity to stay alive in the tournament. It will be an uphill task for them if they are to win and go forward. Some time off for them now to go back to the drawing board and look back at what they need to do better when they come back for what could probably be the final time in this tournament.

Bogliasco have done well with both the bat and ball and can now sit back and relax before their big quarter-final game tomorrow. That is all we have from this contest then!
