Match Summary:

It was a stellar performance from the Adelaide Strikers courtesy Rashid Khan, who, in his last BBL match of the season, returned with figures of 6 for 17 in his 4 overs. He was rightly declared the Man of the Match. With this win, the Adelaide Strikers now are placed sitting with 2 wins under their belt.

The innings of the Adelaide Strikers was not a run-filled one but they managed to get to 161 by getting some handy runs overall. The Brisbane Heat bowling was good, quite economical & looked to have done well to keep their batters more than interested.

But the Heat batting was not at all up to the mark. Chris Lynn and Ben Duckett were key for the Heat, but they couldn't get going as the batting line-up continued to lose wickets at regular intervals.

Finally, there was Rashid Khan! He was simply outstanding! He not only took the wickets, but also put a lid on the can as far as the runs were concerned. There is no doubt that the Adelaide Strikers will miss him!

Rashid Khan, Player of the Match: When I bowled the first few balls I realized that it is a good wicket on which I can get wickets. It was a dream last match for me. Feeling happy to finish my BBL season with wickets. It is all about taking one game at a time. I hope the Strikers go a long way. I would definitely come back for the next season. I have loved playing for the Strikers for the last five years.
