So, we are done with the Qualifier from the Gold Coast. Now, the action moves to the Perth Stadium where the Scorchers host Adelaide Strikers for a spot in the Challenger. Ben Dwarshuis (Player of the Match) - It's pretty amazing. We set a competitive total and we know our roles with the ball. It's very special to book a place in the final. The wicket was two-paced and it has variable bounce and we saw how the Heat boys have bowled. It's always to nice to see the ball moving around and won't see this quite often in T20's. We love our fans and hopefully, it's going to be a packed-house at SCG

Sydney Sixers win the Qualifier by 39 runs with 13 balls to spare! By doing so, they qualify directly for The Final at the SCG.

Chasing anything in excess of 150 was not going to be easy on that wicket. And the Sixers made doubly sure of that! Ben Dwarshuis registered his best bowling figures in T20 cricket and the rest of the attack did their bit to restrict the hosts, so much so, that they were bowled out inside 18 overs!

Sydney Sixers started off pretty economically, bowling one dot ball after another to Josh Brown, who swung and missed time and time again tonight. Jimmy Peirson was the only batter to cross 20 runs and Matt Renshaw was the only other batter to cross 15.

The squeeze that was put on in the first ten overs looked like easing out in the first nine balls of the Power Surge, but then, the wicket of Renshaw in the 13th over started a bit of a collapse which finished the innings in the 18th.

Brisbane Heat missed the services of their key batters in Usman Khawaja, Colin Munro and Marnus Labuschagne. No batter could quite come to terms with the pace of the surface. There were many deliveries that moved off the pitch and jumped off the length. There weren't many answers to those.

Spin was bowled for 4 overs in the innings. Only 25 runs were scored in them for the loss of 1 wicket. That too had a hand in the Heat's disappointing effort with the bat.

Captaincy from Moises Henriques was simply brilliant! The bowling changes, the field placements and the tactics in between deliveries set him apart tonight.

The other marked difference between the sides was in the field! While the Heat misfielded four or five times and dropped two catches, the team in magenta took some tough catches and made them look easy. Ground fielding too was up to mark.

So, for the umpteenth time in BBL history, the Sixers reach The Final on Wednesday and get hosting rights. As for the Heat, they go again on Monday at the same venue to try and make full use of their second chance of making it to the summit clash.
