Well, seems like Tehzeeb took the message of not worrying about the net run rate a bit too seriously. It is an absolute shellacking that he dished out in that innings, making a mockery of the run chase that never seemed like a worry for the Gladiators. They blazed their way to 51 in the powerplay, and that was that, really.

A deflated Zinitis bowling unit could barely muster any sort of a fightback to stop the bullet train, that was Tehzeeb Ul Hassan. The spinners did their bit in the middle overs to try and delay the inevitable, bagging a couple of wickets but they couldn't get the main man at any point. It was a one-man run chase that was wrapped up rather effortlessly.

So, the Gladiators continue to march on in this tournament and keep building on their winning habits. Zinitis, on the other hand, have some regathering to do before their next game.
