Commentary

Right then, more of a net run-rate boosting win for the Blinders this as they made light work of the Vikings in this fixture. They did a brilliant job to put up 142 when they batted first, which is where they won the game as well. A decent performance from their bowlers as well to easily defend the total without any pressure at any point in time.

The Vikings struggled with the bat again and just could not get themselves going. Ending in the 60's, nowhere even close to the target they were chasing and this is a heft defeat for them to say the least. They failed to perform with the bat and the ball with the only bright spot being their bowling in the middle overs earlier in the game.

Budapest Blinders will be very happy with this win going into the backend of the tournament here. They play the Vikings once again in the final game of the day and will look to repeat this performance. Can the Vikings end with a win as they sign off from the tournament? Seems unlikely at this point but we shall soon know!

The Budapest Blinders have won the game but Anup Gupta may not be particularly pleased with this finish. Giving away too many extra runs here and he would liked to finish well. Nonetheless, that is that as they wrap up a one-sided affair in the end. Budapest Blinders win by 73 runs!
