It was a bit topsy turvy, but the Clove Challengers got there eventually! They got off to a slow start, but Darron Nedd then proceeded to pick up the pace for them. The pace-bowling all-rounder struck a 15-ball 34 to set the tempo and get his team into a commanding position. Having lost Lindon Mason early, the Challengers were in need of a partnership, and Nedd went on to stitch one with Haston Jackson to steady the ship.

While Jackson wasn't able to get going, that did not affect Nedd, he kept mauling the bowlers. The approach from Shakim Charles was bizarre in between, he took a few balls to get off the mark, but that didn't deter the Challengers. Javed Hazzard and Deyna George freed their arms a bit, and got them over the line.
