It was always going to be a tough ask for Bucharest Gladiators and it turned out to be so in the end as they could not get to even 100 runs!

Muhammad Moiz was looking threatening for Cluj but his dismissal in the second over meant that someone else had to carry things forward in exactly that fashion. That unfortunately, did not happen for the Gladiators.

Waqas Ahmed did come out and take on Rajith Perera's left-arm spin but against pace, he looked like a pale shadow of himself with the bat.

Of the five bowlers used, three of them went at well under 8.00 RPO. Only seven runs were given away as extras. On the whole, it was a disciplined bowling and fielding effort from Cluj to make the final yet again!
