Commentary

A rather comfortable chase for England XI, as one would expect. 73 runs were never going to be enough for Czech Republic to defend against this side and it did not take long for the English to wrap things up. Skipper Dan Lincoln took charge with a quick-fire 25 before Alex Mellor came in and made sure that they got it done in style and quickly. An unbeaten 27 for him and England now move to 14 points with seven wins.

Czech Republic has a lot of thinking to do. They won their first three games in a row and now, this is their fifth straight loss. The runs haven't come, the big guns have failed and this total was not going to be any easy to defend, as we did see. They were unable to create any sort of pressure.

A great all-round show from England XI, with the ball and the bat to set up a fine victory. They will be mighty satisfied with this performance going into finals day, favourites to emerge as winners from this group. Right then, the final league match coming your way in short time from now. An easy victory for the England XI in the end. A 74-run target was never going to be enough against the in-form side and the same happened as England XI wrapped up an easy eight-wicket victory with 20 balls to spare. Harrison Ward started the chase with a couple of sixes but he was caught at long-on immediately after that. From there, the duo of Dan Lincoln and Alex Mellor mixed up boundaries with constant strike rotation. However, the penchant to take quick singles also cost them slightly as Dan Lincoln was run-out in the fifth over. However, it didn't cost them in the end as Mellor and Rishton finished the game pretty easily with an unbeaten 28-run partnership

That is that then! England XI have yet another one and Czech Republic have yet another loss! Clinical from England XI and they will finish clearly at the top of the table as they continue to dominate!
