Sikandar Raza (Player of the Match): I said to myself, I don't think he'll go short. I'll hold my ground, and if he goes slow into the wicket I'll take it on. Well Naseer will learn from this. We have all been under the pump as a bowler and that will teaches you valuable lessons. To bowl the 20th over at 19 years of age shows great character. I'm sorry for him but we needed this win more! I would say Faith. Faith keeps me strong. I bowl hard in the nets, and bat for long periods and then take power-hitting as a separate drill. I do the hard work and keep my belief in it, because results are not in my control.
Sam Billings (Dubai Capitals Captain): You can do nothing when you got out but Raza has shown true character today. I am really happy with his performance, I was chatting with him in the middle. After the first time-out, we decided that I should go for some brave shots and that paid off. Incredible bowling effort from our side. We didn't bowl bad in the powerplay, but that was some exceptional hitting from Alex Hales. Our spinners did a fantastic job in the middle. We are looking forward to the next game.
Colin Munro (Desert Viper Captain): They bowled vey well in the middle overs and we lost a few wickets. Losing wicket will never help. Despite everything, the credit goes to Ali Naseer. He bowled really well throughout the night and I appreciate him. He is young bloke and we cannot tell him exactly what to bowl. I just aske Naseer to bowl his best delivery. Raza showed that if you give yourself time you always have the time to catch up. How Emirates play tomorrow will be important for us.

Match End!!!!
Dubai Capitals have scored 172 for 5 in 20 overs and won the match by five wickets off the last ball.
Alex Hales - 66 (37) | Roelof van der Merwe - 3/19 (3 Overs) Sikandar Raza - 64 (45) | Sam Curran - 2/39 (4 Overs)
The Dubai Capitals won the toss and put the Vipers into bat. The Vipers were off to a great start as Alex Hales and Phil Salt slaughtered the Capitals bowlers. But the spinners did the job for Billings. They picked up wickets and gradually pulled the Capitals back into the game. After the dismissal of Hales, the Vipers lost their way. A total which looked like will easily go past the 200-mark was restricted to 171 at the end of 20 overs.
In the chase, the Capitals did not get off to a good start. They lost the first three wickets for 32 runs within the sixth over of the innings. But after this Sam Billings and Sikandar Raza stitched a partnership of 79 runs and brought the Capitals back into the game.
Billings played a brilliant knock of 57 off 36 balls and set up the tone for a powerful finish. But after his dismissal, it was Raza who brought out his A-game. He stayed till the end and hit a maximum off the last ball to see the team past the victory line.
