Somerset won by 7 wickets Tom Banton 42(30) | Robin Das 72(39) Matt Henry 3-24(4) | Daniel Sams 2-22(4)
Somerset defeat Eagles for the fourth straight time and secures the top spot in the South Group with a commanding victory. Early wickets are key for any team to have a chance against the formidable Somerset batting and the Eagles failed to make inroads. Banton and Smeed went after the Pacers and it was raining sixes inside the powerplay.
They were hard to bowl at and the crowd stunned into silence by looking at the onslaught. Sams managed to remove the openers but only after all the damage is done. He still bowled a terrific spell in a batting paradise but the other bowlers went plenty. Cadmore played an entertaining cameo while Abell and Dickson made sure there's isn't any further slip-ups as they stitched together a 67-run partnership to help the team cross the finish line with 17 balls to spare
16.3 Matthew Critchley to Tom Abell, game set and match for Somerset. Abell taps away the flatter trajectory delivery around off towards the point region for a single.
16.2 Matthew Critchley to Tom Abell, FOUR! That was a tossed up delivery a shade outside off, Abell launches this over the extra cover fielder's head and goes away to the fence.
16.1 Matthew Critchley to Tom Abell, on a length around middle, worked away towards the mid-on region.
Matt Critchley comes back into the attack
The last shot sums up Eagles' night with the ball. Somerset are just one hit away to inflict fourth straight defeat

15.6 Sam Cook to Sean Dickson, SIX! That has flown over the keeper's head for a maximum. That was banged in short by Cook, Dickson swipes across the line and ends up getting a top edge which goes over the fence.
15.5 Sam Cook to Sean Dickson, back of a length delivery around off, Dickson dabbed away towards the backward point region.
15.4 Sam Cook to Sean Dickson, FOUR! That was an attempted yorker which ends up as a full one on the middle stump, didn't quite allow Dickson to get under that but drilled all along the carpet back past the bowler and off to the fence.
15.3 Sam Cook to Sean Dickson, that was almost in the blockhole. A tad outside off and Dickson jams that away towards the mid-off fielder.
15.2 Sam Cook to Tom Abell, slower back of a length delivery around the middle stump channel, worked away from the crease towards the square leg region for a single.
15.1 Sam Cook to Tom Abell, FOUR! That is a delectable shot from Tom Abell. A low full toss around the middle stump channel, flicked away nonchalantly, right in the gap towards the deep midwicket region and ff to the fence.
Sam Cook comes back into the attack
Almost another wicket-taking over for Sams but the catch has been dropped. Sams did his job with the ball but it's unfortunate that his spell doesn't have a telling impact in this game

14.6 Daniel Sams to Sean Dickson, Sams showing a little bit of anger on that final delivery. Bangs it in short and Dickson ducks under that and lets that go through to the keeper.
14.5 Daniel Sams to Sean Dickson, that has been dropped by Robin Das at the backward point region. Back of a length delivery just a tad outsde off, the square cut was timed well but was uppish and Robin drops that.
14.4 Daniel Sams to Tom Abell, slower delivery on a good-length just a tad outside off, punched away towards the cover region for a single.
14.3 Daniel Sams to Sean Dickson, fuller around middle and leg, Dickson gets inside the line of the ball and flicks it away towards the deep midwicket region for a single.
14.2 Daniel Sams to Tom Abell, on a good-length around middle and leg, worked away towards the deep square leg region for a single.
