We've had some epic matches in this tournament and without a doubt, we have been entertained witnessing all the thrills and spills over the past few weeks. Eventually, Tornadoes Women clinched the Fair break title by beating Falcons Women with minimum fuss in the big final. Stafanie Taylor: It's a really wonderful feeling, I said the same in the press conference last night, we were elated and some of us to go into the finals for the first time and win the trophy. Special mention Sune who was amazing through out the tournament. Sterre was fantastic, both her and Sophie compliment each other well. To see the start we got today, that propelled us to victory. Captaincy was easy, maybe because three of us are captains in this team. Sophie was brilliant, she captained two times, so it was nice to split roles. This tournament has been fantastic, hopefully it will be bigger next year!"

Marizanne Kapp has been named as the 'Player of the Match': Bowling didn't go my way today, if I would've bowled better we would have got over the line. I'm someone who likes to prepare, the last 10 days have been tough but happy to be a part of this brilliant tournament. Its been amazing to see smiles on their face, they have surprised me and there is some really great talent out there.

Suzie Bates: So proud of the way we fought today, things didn't go quite well today, credit to the Tornadoes' fielding. This team has come together in a special way in a short time period, brilliant to be a part of it. A huge thanks to everyone who made this tournament happen, and hopefully we can start some relationships to grow the game globally.

Suzie Bates and Sterre Kallis took the responsibility and gave Tornadoes a bright start inside the powerplay, scoring 53/0 in six overs. Bates is the aggressor in the partnership as she took some calculated risks to keep the scoreboard ticking. She took on Anju Gurung and smashed her for 16 runs before launching Tippoch for a huge six over mid-wicket.

Things were going smooth for Tornadoes until Tippoch got rid of Bates and broke the 76-run stand in the 10th over. Stefanie Taylor, then, joined hands with Kalis and the duo were focused on rotating the strike, rather than playing any fancy strokes. A couple of tight overs and the wicket of Kalis made things interesting in the middle, but Luus' cameo, in the end, helped the team to cross the line in the final over.

The Falcons had a great tournament but they were second-best in all departments of the game in the mega-final today. Marizanne Kapp's innings gave them the fighting chance but that was overshadowed by Suzie Bates' onslaught. Overall, a better team won the tournament and Stefanie Taylor would be happy with how her team performed throughout.

Luus goes aerial and finished things off in style. Tornadoes win the first-ever Fairbreak Invitational tournament and you could see the smiles and celebration in the middle. Great scenes out there but disappointment for the Falcons as they come very close but lost to a better team on the day.
