Fateh CC have got to a decent start with the bat with Jubed Miah scoring runs inside the powerplay though he lost his opening partner quite early in the innings. Manjinder Singh and Jubed Miah put on some decent show with the bat while they were in the middle but couldn't continue for longer duration in the chase. Saqib Muhammad also scored a decent 16 runs from just 9 balls but got out at the wrong time to leave the chase to batters to follow. Kuldeep Singh tried his best in the final couple of overs to chase down the target but failed to help his team cross the line. They needed one batter among the top 4 to play a substantial innings and that didn't happen only to see them fall short by 6 runs in the end.

Falco bowlers bowled well in patches and did the right things when it mattered the most. Muhammed Sheraz started off well with the ball and Shabaz Ahmed also chipped in with couple of tight overs. Adeel Sarwar was the pick of the bowlers for Falco as he picked 3 wickets in his two overs and more importantly broke the 2nd wicket partnership between Jubed Miah and Manjinder Singh. They controlled well in the final couple of overs to restrict the opponents to 90 and win the match by 6 runs.

Falco register their first win in the first match of the tournament and will be quite happy with the effort though they have few areas to correct. Fateh, on the other hand, also had a decent outing but will be looking in change of fortunes in the coming matches.

That's the end of the innings and Fateh CC have lost the match to Falco by 6 runs. They needed one batter to play a long innings and that didn't happen and subsequently they fell short by just 6 runs in chasing a target of 97.
