MATCH SUMMARY
Old Victorians won by 19 runs
Julius Sumerauer 39(15) | Matthew Webb 3/22(2) Callum Garden 33(15) | Jamie King 2/16(2)
A clinical performance with the ball from the Old Victorians sees them winning their last league game against Forfarshire by 19 runs and it also means Forfarshire would be heading home without a win in the championship week.
Set 117 to win, the real question was could Forfarshire do it inside 7 overs and take all 4 points from the encounter. Well, as it turned out even 10 overs were not enough for them as they fell well short of the target.
The chase never really got going barring the first over when Bailwal scored 18 runs to give Forfarshire some hope. But, that hope was short-lived as they lost their main man, Craig Wallace, in the very next over.
From there on, it was very evident that the bonus point was out of the equation and with wickets falling in regular intervals the target also went out of the picture for Forfarshire.
Only Callum Garden, who got a couple of lives, managed to get a decent enough score of 33 but the other really struggled against what was a excellent bowling display by Old Victorians. Matthew Webb got 3 wickets whereas the like of Zac Wiilson, Scott Simpson and Jamie Duckett got one each and did not give a lot away.
Earlier in the piece, Old Victorians had managed to get 116 with Julius Sumaerauer top-scoring with them with 39. It looked like they would get much more but some good bowling from the likes of Jamie King, Bryce Allchin and Lewis James managed to keep them to 116

Julius Sumerauer [1.0-0-18-0] is back into the attack
26 needed off the last over
The last-ball six has just kept things interesting but you have got to say that Old Victorians are favorite but unlikely things happen in ECL

8.1 Jamie Duckett to James Sim, FOUR! Full around off, dug out towards short fine, who makes a mess of it and lets it through
Things have taken a turn in Old Victorian's favor with the couple of wickets in that over. 36 needed off 12 deliveries! Can they do it?
