In the end, it is a huge victory by T10 standards for the Old Victorians as the target of 199 proved to be a bit too much for CIYMS.

They put up a decent batting performance by scoring 149 in their allotted quota of 10 overs but 199 was always going to be too steep in the run chase.

Jason Van Der Merwe went early after scoring a brisk 22 and the promotion of Carson McCullough to the opening slot did not work either for CIYMS as he only managed a 5-ball 6. But then, Chris Dougherty and skipper John Matchett formed a nice partnership which took CIYMS to 138 ensuring that they will get a point out of this contest.

But the real action happened in the first innings, when Jonty Jenner smashed a 26-ball century on his to an unbeaten 120* off 32 deliveries. He along with Julius Sumerauer first and then Jamie Watling tore apart the CIYMS bowling line-up and put up a mammoth 198 on the board which sealed the game for Old Victorians.
