End of a pretty one-sided match between SG Einheit Halle and Fuchse Berlin Lions. Einheit Halle wrapped up a massive 45-run win which is also their first victory of the tournament. Chasing 144 for victory, Berlin Lions got off to a bad start as Vinny Muruhesapillai was sent back for a duck in the first over itself. Thereafter, the duo of Indika Gunasekara and Tiron De Alwis struggled to get a move on. This meant that the chasing side finished the three-over Powerplay with only 25/1 on the board. A few more quiet overs followed while Tiron De Alwis retired hurt after the sixth over. From there on, Indika Gunasekara accelerated very well with Berlin Lions moving onto 75/1 after eight overs but the big-hitting came too late in the order. Abdullah Daulatzai came back to dismiss Tharanga Loku Liyana while AB Gazizadeh was also run-out with three balls to go. In the end, Berlin Lions finished their innings with 98/3.
