Angelo Mathews: Was a decent total especially after the bad start. Niroshan was always looking to score and the seamers were brilliant. They bowled exactly what the conditions wanted them to do on this. On one side the breeze was blowing and we wanted the batters to hit to that end. We had a shocker in the last game but it can happen. We are all trying our best.

Dasun Shanaka: We did not start well, 165 was a good total to chase on this wicket. It is all about partnerships, I asked my mates to stay with me but they did not listen I guess. Two fast bowlers got injured before the tournament started and that has hurt us.

Niroshan Dickwella is awarded the Player of the Match for his knock of 62(41b). Let's hear what he has to say: I think I took enough risks. It was a tough pitch, had to take calculated risks and build partnerships with Ravi (Bopara). I want to be available for the team, I want to perform and win matches for the side. (On being asked whether the plans change with the format) It is the same approach, I will be focused ball by ball and will take any catches that come my way

Excellent comeback from Colombo to snatch a win after that whirlwind opening stand between Jordan Cox and Shevon Daniel. The right-left combination blasted away at the top and by the halfway stage of the 5th over had 50 on the board.

But a sensational catch from Drakes brought an end to Cox's innings and Colombo came back through their spinners into the game. Mathews cleverly rotated his bowlers and increased the asking rate.

Daniel and Rajapaksa holed out to in the deep and Lakmal came back to dismiss the dangerous Abell. Sikandar Raza too disappointed as he fell for duck and that put too much pressure on Shanaka.

The strike was not rotated at the end and Shanaka was left to do too much. Janat held his nerve in the final over to close out the game.

Dambulla will feel this is a game they should've won after the opening stand and considering they were chasing just 166.
