A dominating display from IR to overturn their winless streak and register their first victory in the tournament.

Chasing a target of 93, they were dealt an early blow by the GAM bowlers. After Nitin Kamboj dismissed Utsab Kharki in the first over, Sripal Matta bettered it with a double strike as IR were reeling 3 down within the powerplay.

However, it was the pair of John Zinkus and Nilesh Suryawanshi who scripted a match-winning partnership of 79 runs and ensured to bat till the very end to see things through.

In the end it was an easy run-chase as no other GAM bowler could make inroads. With the win, IR now have two points, although they still remain at the bottom place while GAM are placed second-last with 1 win from 8 games.
