The absolute scenes! This is the magic of European cricket. Victoria Lions have done the double over Gozo and they've done it in some style. After posting only 97 on the board, they managed to make a game out of this one, even with Gozo at 31/1 at the end of the powerplay.

Gautam Datta was firing on all cylinders to get his side off to a flier before being dismissed in the fifth over. Gozo were cruising at that stage with 51/3 on the board and had this run chase in the bag for most of the innings. With 33 runs needed off the last three overs, they needed one decent partnership to get them over the line.

However, the man of the moment, Adhith Rajan could do no wrong. He delivered the double whammy in the eight over for the Lions, completely derailing the Gozo run chase in the process. Only 5 runs came off the eighth and ninth over with Gozo letting this one slip away from their grasp.

With 28 runs in the bank to defend in the final over, Rohan Rajan held his nerve to ensure that the Victoria Lions make it two wins out of two and also upset Gozo's cart.
