Virender Sehwag, Gujarat Giants: It just wasn't our day. Either of Chris Gayle, Kevin O'Brien or myself should have stayed out there and batted through the innings. Our bowlers did their best too, but the Kings completely outplayed us. Yashpal's innings was a very big positive for us; we can promote him up the order now.

Irfan Pathan, Bhilwara Kings: A very good result, and one that we could have had yesterday as well. But it's okay, I am extremely pleased by the manner of our victory tonight. The Bhilwara Kings wrapped up a one-sided game, and they can now allow themselves the luxury to celebrate after a disappointing result yesterday against the Manipal Tigers. The Giants, set to chase a massive 223, never really got going.

They had a fantastic batting lineup consisting of Chris Gayle, Virender Sehwag, Lendl Simmons, Kevin O'Brien and many others, but unfortunately, none of them made a mark. It was left to Indian domestic legend Yashpal Singh, coming in at number nine, to stroke an eventful fifty. However, by then, the game had already got away from them.

The bowlers of the Giants were rather poor today, with almost all their medium pacers leaking runs consistently. Sadly, none of them could come up with the idea of slowing things down with variations, as the seamers of the Kings did in their innings.
