Falco got off to a good start, with skipper Adeel Sarwar smacking 19 runs off the first over bowled by Shafat Ali Syed. However, he got out off the last ball of the same over, and after that things went downhill for them.

Those who batted in the middle order for Falco tried their best to take the attack to the bowlers of Sabadell, but unfortunately, there was not a lot of skill on offer. Tanveer Iqbal and Shabaz Ahmed did get into the act later on, smacking Sabadell skipper Ikram Ul Haq for 43 runs off this quota of two overs, but this was seen to be a case of too little too late.

Had they got into the act a little earlier, things might have been different for them. Shabaz managed to take Falco to need 55 off the last two overs. It seemed gettable until then, but Abid Ali bowled a fabulous penultimate over to seal the deal for Sabadell.

Needing 44 off the last over of the game, both Shabaz and Iqbal tried their best, but could do very little against the accuracy put up on display by Murad Ali.

Sabadell will take a lot of heart from this victory, and Shafat Ali Syed and Abid Ali will be very proud of their all-round performances that gave their side such a big boost.
