That will be all from this battle between two giants here in ECS England which ended up in favour of Wimbledon. This is the duo of Bidipto and Mohul signing off. Until next time, goodbye!
Wimbledon beat Hornchurch by 93 runs!
Jack Boyle 76 (25) | Bill Sewell 3-9 Matt Boyle 57 (15) | Tom Weston 2-18
Wimbledon virtually ran all over the batters of Hornchurch in this game and did not even give them the opportunity to stand on their feet.
Hornchurch did not quite show the desire and hunger required to chase such a massive total down, and this worked very well in the favour of Wimbledon.
The latter will be extremely pleased with this result and hope that they can carry this momentum further into the competition and allow the confidence they have gained here to help them further.
Hornchurch, on the other hand, will have a lot of thinking to do after this game after this extremely poor batting performance.
